DIY Spa Night

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Over the weekend I had my beautiful cousin Danielle come over for a DIY spa night. It was a great way to unwind and get together to catch up. My cousin is a year younger than me and she is one of my best friends! We have TONS of laughs together and we can talk to each other and tell each other everything. I always know it's going to be a great time when her and I get together!

First things first, girl night has to start off with a glass of wine :) I know we may not look it, but I promise you we are both of age lol :)

The name of the wine was a little inappropriate so I blurred out the rest of the label ;) lol Now it's time for the fun to begin! We wanted to try out the new gold mask that I received in my FabFitFun box.

We were so excited to try it out, but shortly after applying the mask we realized it wasn't what we thought it was going to be. I tried the mask out first. It felt like I had a piece of cheese on my face lol! We got into such laughing fit because the mask kept sliding off my face and I looked so crazy!

Danielle decided it would be a good idea to lay down so that the mask wouldn't continue to slide off my face. I looked like C-3PO meets Sleeping Beauty! We also thought it would be a good idea to stick a straw in our wine glasses so we could still drink with the masks on lol! It kind of worked ;)

After my 20 minutes was up, I did like the fact that my skin was left feeling soft and had a little sparkle to it and boy do I love my sparkle!
Since that was a little bit of a fail, Danielle wanted to try a different mask. She chose the Anti-Wrinkle mask from Farmacy.

This was a success! To pass the 20 minutes, we proceeded to take selfies and play a little photo shoot in the bathroom mirror :)

Next up we did a foot soak. I took two old buckets, filled them up with warm water, and then dropped in little epsom salt "Ice Cream" bath soaks. They contain Jojoba oil to soften the skin and the epsom salt helps with sore muscles.

Oooooo fizzy!! :)

This was the best part of our spa night!

We had such a great night with lots of laughs and tons of new memories! We are already planning our next spa night!

Thank you Danielle for being a part of my post!! Love you lots and lots!

Let me know in the comments below some of the things you love to do with your friends on a spa night. I'm always looking for fun and new ideas.

XoXo
