We have come to the end of another week and to another edition of #FacialFriday!
Friday's are always my favorite day to enjoy a little spa night. After a long, stressful and busy week, I love being able to unwind and relax by pampering myself with a facial. A few weeks ago I showed you how to make your own pumpkin mask. Today I am going to be sharing with you a DIY honey mask.
All you need are three simple ingredients, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Take 1 Tbsp of pure honey and combine it with 1 Tsp of cinnamon and 1 Tsp of nutmeg.
Once combined, I take an old makeup brush and use it to apply the mask to my entire face.
I let the mask sit on my face for 20 minutes to let the mixture work its magic. The honey, cinnamon and nutmeg work together to help reduce any redness and inflammation as well as soften and tighten the skin. Plus the cinnamon works as a gentle exfoliator while the honey helps to combat any acne.
Once your 20 minutes are up, it's time to rinse off the sweet mask to reveal soft, refreshed skin.
I hope you all enjoyed today's post! I am going to be busy this weekend getting ready for Halloween as well as for another wedding! :) Stay tuned next week for some Halloween inspired posts :)
Have fun trying out this mask for yourself this weekend! Thank you for stopping by!
Have a fantastic weekend!
