Swamp Queen Palette! #MirrorMirrorMonday

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Today I am sharing with you the Tarte x Grav3yardgirl Swamp Queen Palette!!
I didn't think that I was going to get this beauty because the day it launched the site was Tarte website was having a lot of issues because of all the people who were trying to get this palette. But I succeeded and I am SO happy that I did! This palette is absolutely gorgeous and it has everything you need in it. Perfect for the girl-on-the-go or if you're just looking to condense your makeup collection.

How cool is does the palette look!? Not only does it look like wood but it has the wood grain texture pressed into the box!

What's great about this is that it comes with a step-by-step tutorial card for a Day & Night look using the palette. I have been attempting to re-create these looks on myself and they are very easy to do. The formulation of the colors is so creamy and silky that it makes blending a dream! Now for a look inside. (The mirror reads : Believe in yourself, Love yourself, Embrace your individuality. I couldn't get a clear picture of it haha)

How GORGEOUS are these colors!? I can't even get over it! Such a beautiful neutral palette with the perfect mix of mattes, shiny, and shimmer shades. Plus the palette smells good which makes me want to use it even more! It smells like a super yummy vanilla but it is not over powering at all. The palette even comes with a brush! Now for some swatches!

First I will start out with the contour, blush and highlight colors. The top contour color is called "Sweet Tea", the blush is called "Does This Thing Really Work?" and the glorious highlighter is called "Gator Wings". The picture cannot even do these colors justice. They are all just the perfect shade and just the right amount of pigment not to mention I want to cover my entire body in
"Gator Wings"!! Just stunning!

Now onto the eyeshadows. I swatched the colors in the palette the way they appear in the photo so if you want to know the name of a shade it's laid out on my arm the way it appears in the actual palette. Like I said before, I have been playing with different looks in this palette but just like any typical girl, I take about 50 selfies and don't like the way they come out at all haha! Once is get a good one using this palette you bet it will be making an appearance on my Insta ;)

All in all I am super impressed and throughly in LOVE with this palette! Love the amazing job Bunny did in conjunction with Tarte in creating this palette! If you can get your hands on this beauty I would HIGHLY recommend that you do! Good luck and I hope you get the chance to try it :)

Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great week!

XoXo
