September Ipsy Bag Reveal & Review (Mirror Mirror Monday)

September 21, 2015

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!

I'm loving the change in the weather! Autumn officially starts this week and I cannot wait for all the goodness that comes along with the Fall season.

Today I am going to be doing a reveal & review for you on my September Ipsy bag.

Ipsy is a monthly subscription service where they send you five beauty samples that are tailored to your individual preferences. It costs $10 a month and along with the samples you receive, everything comes in a keepsake bag. It's perfect to keep all of your makeup in and throw into your pocketbook for an on-the-go makeup bag.

This month's bag is a beautiful copper tone. It's a perfect fall color that reminds me of all the changing leaves on the trees. As much as I love this bag, as soon as my mom saw it, she swiped it up from me ;) that's okay because I get to keep all the goodies inside, and don't they always say, it's what's on the inside that counts lol ;)

Now it's time for the reveal. The only disappointing thing about Ipsy is the lack of a description card. So unless I go online and google each of these items, I really don't know much about what I've got and I don't know how much anything costs. I am going to try and find everything online and post links below the pictures if you are interested in any of the products :)

Naobay Oxygenating Cream, it's a nice moisturizer, not a big fan of the smell and dries a little sticky.

Pixi by Petra is a brow kit, I linked the full size product for you. This brand is available at Target as well. I like this product so far, it seems to fill in my brows nicely.

Not Soap Radio Liquid Freud, I love this hand & body lotion, its very light and it smells like candy! It dries quickly and it leaves my skin feeling soft. Plus it's made with coconut milk and that's always a star in my book ;)

J. Cat Beauty #MOTD (Makeup of the Day) waterproof eye liner in the color Bronze. I'm not a huge eye liner fan, but this is a pretty color. It doesn't go on very easy either so I'm not really loving this item.

The last item is a NYX eye shadow palette. This particular item isn't sold online because it was done as a collaboration with Ipsy. I did provide a link for the 3 color shadow palettes on the company's website. I REALLY like this palette and the colors are perfect for the fall! The colors aren't extremely pigmented which I love because I really don't like to wear eye makeup. It gives my eyes just the perfect amount of color and makes the blue in my eyes pop!

All in all I was pretty satisfied with this month's Ipsy bag.
I hope you all enjoyed my Reveal & Review!

If you are interested in trying Ipsy out for yourself I've provided a referral link for you :)

I hope you all have a happy Monday and a great week!
