What's for Breakfast? (Tasty Tuesday)

I don't know about you, but for me, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A healthy nutritious meal in the morning can make a great deal of difference. Fueling your body up with the proper nutrients makes it that much easier to power through your morning at work, school, or whatever the day may have in store for you. 

My meals vary on the weekdays than they do from my weekends. During the week I need something quick, easy, and filling when I'm trying to get ready for work. Where as on the weekends I can take my time, workout in the morning and actually sit down to enjoy my meal.

I ALWAYS start my morning off with a cup of black coffee sweetened with a little stevia. Stevia is a natural plant based sweetener. It's a healthier option to sweeten your morning cup of joe or tea.

Next up it's time for my 'Meta-D' and my vitamins.

I follow the Tone It Up nutrition plan and as part of that regimen, I drink my 'Meta-D' before I have breakfast in the morning. It consists of 4 oz. of pure grapefruit juice and about 1 Tbs. of raw apple cider vinegar. This drinks helps to aid in digestion not only from the fat burning properties of the grapefruit but the raw apple cider vinegar helps to regulate blood sugar levels and slows down the stomach's digestion, so you stay fuller longer. 

In being a vegetarian, I sometimes don't get all the vitamins I need from my diet. That's why it is so important for me to take a Multi-Vitamin everyday. They give my body the nutrients it needs to function properly and keep me healthy. I also take a digestive enzyme. There are some foods that I eat that my body doesn't break down properly, so I take a digestive enzyme to help with that process.
