Cruelty Free Is The Way to Be #MirrorMirrorMonday

May 09, 2016

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a great weekend and a beautiful Mother's Day!

Today I am going to be sharing with you my favorite Cruelty Free makeup products. In my journey to follow a more Vegan lifestyle, I've also started to paying more attention to the products that I was using on my face and skin as well. I have always been aware that the products I used didn't test on animals and that would almost always influence my purchase in buying them. I have rounded up the products that I use on a daily basis that do not test on animals and that are paraben free, free of sulfites. Stay tuned on Friday for all my Cruelty Free Skincare Favorites!

Here's a look at my makeup essentials.

NYX Butter Gloss (#2, 13, 14)- I love lip gloss! I have a whole bag full on them on my vanity! These butter glosses from NYX give the perfect about of color and are never sticky on your lips. You can't beat the price either, they run about $4.99/each.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss (Undressed)- If you haven't tried this brand out yet, run to Sephora ASAP and get your hands on this lip gloss. First of all this is the perfect nude color, the applicator is super soft and makes it easy to apply and the texture of the gloss is so silky! Definitely one of my go to favorite glosses.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer- I cannot stop talking about this product. I now see what all the hype is about! If you seriously have never tried this concealer, again run to Sephora and pick it up! No other concealer that I have used compares to this one.

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation- What a beautiful product this foundation is. The coverage is light to medium coverage and feels so natural on your skin. Perfect for Summer!

It Cosmetics CC+ Cream- Another beautiful foundation! This is more of a full coverage make-up but it is not heavy what so ever! It combines the benefits of a serum to help improve the look soft your skin and provide protection from the sun with an SPF of 50+. Like the product says, "It's your skin, but better".

Tarte Skin Twinkle Palette- I don't think I will ever use another highlight palette after using this one from Tarte! The glow these highlighters give to my skin is just gorgeous! If you see a glow on my cheek bones its compliments of this product!

Benefit Cheekathon Palette- This palette is another must! It has the perfect bronzer and blush shades in it. The colors are very bendable and and there's a color in there for every skin tone.

Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blush- This blush is amazing! First of all the price is awesome ($2.99)! Second the pigmentation is so gorgeous! A little bit goes a long way with this blush and the color lasts all day! This is a must have makeup item!

Wet n' Wild Photo Focus Setting Spray ($4.99) & NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray ($8.99)- Now to lock down all your beautiful makeup! These setting sprays are amazing! I like these better than some more expensive setting prays that I have tried. They keep my makeup in place and looking fresh all day!

Look for these symbols when trying to buy cruelty free products:

This will indicate that the brand does not test on animals and they will usually indicate when they are Vegan products as well.
